Thank you for taking the time to visit our cattery. Pawsabilitys Cattery has a long tradition of producing beautiful, healthy cats and kittens.

Susie, the first Scottish Fold was discovered in Perthshire, Scotland. Her unusual look prompted Mr. William Ross to ask the owner if he could obtain one of her offspring that displayed folded ears. Two years later Denisla Snooks went to live with the Ross family.

Some thirty years after the breed originated, I purchased my first Scottish Fold, Marxalot's Feathers Delight. Feathers not only left a mark in the show ring, but fueled our desire to begin our own breeding program. As the saying goes, "One just won't do" was "Oh so true!" Next came Mercou Jack Raisin In The Sun, Marxalot's Snicker Doodle, and many other wonderful additions to our home. Now I am showing and breeding their children and grandchildren.

"Showing" is an important part of my breeding program. It allows for me to better understand the standards on which all cats are judged, genetics on which the Scottish Fold breed was founded, and the diversity necessary for our breed to thrive into the future.

My most prized moment was when Pawsabilitys Buster Basking in the Sun, a cat I bred, received T.I.C.A.'s Best Scottish Fold International award for 1999-2000. Buster sires most all of the kittens born here. He is a wonderful boy, who has made me proud more times than I can count.
